4. Our Mission CARC is committed to advocating on behalf of all people living with HIV/AIDS in Connecticut to ensure a full range of quality housing and services necessary to maximize their potential and live their lives in dignity.

5. Alliance For Living, Inc. The Alliance for Living is dedicated to improving the quality of life for people affected by HIV/AIDS in New London County… through direct services that support the life needs of people affected by HIV/AIDS. Alliance is dedicated to education, prevention services and advocacy on behalf of those it serves.

6. Faith and AIDS Matters (The FAM) The FAM is a faith-based network of residents, churches, and individuals from community/civic agencies and organizations dedicated to addressing HIV/AIDS issues. The vision is to see compassionate communities created in neighborhoods where people live, work, play and worship and that all individuals are embraced, supported and loved.

7. Cece Jones Ministries, Inc. CJM is an itinerant ministry with a mission of… “Taking the Presence of God into Real Places” … using the primary modes of worship praxis and HIV/AIDS ministry.

25. Know your status! Get tested for HIV! Thanks to medical advancements, people are living much longer, healthier lives with HIV/AIDS. Call 211 for testing locations.

26. Talk With Your Family, Friends and Children About HIV… Encourage your loved ones to get tested for HIV and learn how it’s transmitted and more importantly, how to prevent it.
