10 From Night – Vocabulary Study
Look at the sentences on your vocabulary study worksheet (don’t cheat and unfold it!). Try to guess the meanings of the words from context. Next, write one sentence for each new word. Try to make your sentences tell a story.

11 Night by Elie Wiesel Close read – pages 942 – Fill out your “Text Analysis” worksheet as we read together.

12 INDEPENDENT READING Please get the book that you selected for independent reading and read SILENTLY for the next 20 minutes. When I tell you that time is up, please fill out your worksheet (a summary or your thoughts on what you read – at least 5 sentences NOT copied from the book) and put it in your IR folder.

13 Ticket Out Please write one post it for learned and one for confused & place it on our parking lot on your way out the door. REMEMBER – “nothing” is not an acceptable answer!
