Works with South East Wind side onshore small thermal excelleration but mostly the wind is the forecast strength so if its 15 knots in WindGuru and we have 20 in Le Morne its 15 in the East. North East Wind no thermal effect but sided onshore from the left side

Club Mistral Mauritius | Crystal Beach East Coast 2013 Summary In general Daniel and myself (Matthew) are both in agreement that this could be an interesting spot to have in the portfolio for Mauritius as a less extreme, family orientated spot to learn and improve in much less wild surroundings than Le Morne. The center need not start with all new equipment but perhaps some used equpment from the main center where possible or we put new equipment in Le Morne and send up used equipment to the Crystal Main issue we both see is finding the righ staff and housing them. Hotel is very keen for us to go there and Alain sees it as a great opportunity to get a foot in the door on the East Coast with a complimentary product not far from some very very nice kite excursion spots. Having visited a few of the hotels while on the East and seen the lagon from all angles the Crystal is actually in the best place for teaching.
