Students must take 1.0 credit from EN119, EN120 and EN121; and a minimum of 6.0 senior English credits. This will include at least 1.0 credit from each of the four categories listed below. 9 Additional Basic Qualifications (ABQ)  Primary, Intermediate & Senior teachables  Specific requirements and pre-requisites  Subject and Division specific  Upon graduation, complete an ABQ course in the subject and division of your choice Additional Qualification (AQ)  Various subjects (e.g. Special Education, Guidance Counselling, French as a Second Language, etc.)  Allow you to become qualified in different areas of education  Build on personal interests  Varying pre-requisites  Part 1, 2 & 3 (Specialist) courses can be completed upon graduation  Note: Office of the Registrar needs to confirm eligibility before registering in ABQ courses  http://www.nipissingu.ca/academics/faculties/schulich-school-of-education/pd-for- teachers/Pages/default.aspx
