2. History The Habitat for Humanity in St. Johns County started 1993 Founded by Presbyterian minister Dr. John Hunter Habitat for Humanity has received several large donations. Helping the St. Johns County chapter grow. Since 1994, the organization has provided over 90 safe and decent homes to hard working families.

Habitat for humanity has a new community wide program, it is now partnering with local businesses to assist in fundraising to build new houses each year, HFH is now taking clothing donations by collecting it all around the St. John’s County.
