3. Before Applying Seek approval from employer. Request Letters of Recommendation of at least two people. Meet members of the Council or attend a Council meeting. Review member description also located on SRC’s website for Council information and time commitments.

4. Tips for application process Update current resume, statement of qualifications or curriculum vitae to complete application. Document your leadership roles in organizations and professional life for use in the application process. Decide which representative position on the Council fits your experience best.

5. Variety of Questions on Application Application is extensive and has a variety of questions. Be prepared to answer questions such as: 1.Work Experience 2.Education 3.Residency 4.Taxes 5.Military experience

6. Once Application is completed Print a copy of the application for your records. Send your resume to the SRC Executive Officer. You will receive a letter from the Governor’s Office acknowledging your application.
