3 What Makes A GREAT Fundraiser?  Select the RIGHT fundraiser  Know your target audience  Know their interests, what they can afford  Have a financial goal  Generate Excitement PROMOTE!

4 Types of Fundraisers Small Fundraisers (Under $250) - Bake Sales, Candy Sales, Contest/Drawings, US Bank Medium Fundraisers ($250-$500) - Car Washes, Benefit Dinners, Restaurant Promotions (Sally Tomatoes, Chilis, The Pub etc.) Large Fundraisers (Over $500) - Dances, Silent Auctions

7 Fundraising Proposal Student Clubs should submit a proposal to CSLIS and should include the following:Student Clubs should submit a proposal to CSLIS and should include the following: –Description of the activity planned –Copies of any solicitation materials used, including but not limited to, letters, phone scripts, web pages, etc. –List of names and contact information for individuals, businesses, organizations to be solicited –Campaign dates –Planned use of funds raised –Plan to thank donors Proposals should be submitted to CSLIS for approvalProposals should be submitted to CSLIS for approval
