2 Frequently Asked Questions Where are the CRM 3.0 registration keys? –CRM 3.0 registration keys are known as PID keys, and are found on the sticker on the back of the CRM 3.0 media kit. Each PID key has a limited number of installations. Do I need to register in SWSS for the keys after installation? –Not to obtain keys, but to activate the account on Voice to receive Software Assurance. –When installing CRM 3.0, you will be prompted to enter the 25- char PID key found on the sticker of the CRM 3.0 media kit. The installation only requires the PID Keys, after which the software can be used immediately. When additional licenses are purchased, do I need to re- register for a new key? –No, you only need to register once.

3 How to obtain free CRM 3.0 media? For Customers SELECT, EA and OLV customer with an Active agreement who purchased CRM 1.2 L/SA or SA –free CRM 3.0 media will be sent in the monthly update kit OPEN customers with an Active agreement who purchased CRM 1.2 L/SA or SA –can place an order for the CRM 3.0 kits via their reseller –Reseller will place an order with their Distributor –Distributor will place order with Microsoft FPP customers who purchased CRM 1.2 and Software Assurance coverage is still Active –to be advised Customers who did not purchase CRM L/SA, will need to purchase CRM L/SA via the available volume licensing programs

4 Installing CRM 3.0 – PID Key When you have the CRM 3.0 Media on hand, find the Product Key (PID key) that is on a yellow or orange sticker that is on the back of the CD cover It should look something like this: Install CRM 3.0 using the software and enter this key when prompted on-screen

5 Installing CRM 3.0 – PID Key Install CRM 3.0 using the media. At some point, you will be prompted to enter the 25-char PID key Enter the key and continue with the rest of the installation Please note: This guide does not illustrate the complete installation process. There are many more processes after this screen. Manually enter the PID key here

6 CRM 3.0 Product Registration The following steps applies AFTER you have successfully installed CRM 3.0 using the 25-char PID-key found on the sticker on the CRM 3.0 media kit

7 CRM 3.0 Product Registration * Product registration can be postponed but must be completed within 30 days of install or the product will shut down. Why register? Product registration “unlocks” CRM and provides information to get customer into VOICE

9 Company information Please ensure that all fields are populated Note: Information entered will be reflected in VOICE

11 Partner information Select No if there is no partner assisting with your CRM implementation. If Yes is chosen, please complete partner information
