2  We are the local health department for the towns of Berlin, Newington, Rocky Hill and Wethersfield and serve a combined population of 97,500  One of 21 regional public health departments in CT  17 years of providing a broad range of public health services  Oversight from an 12-member Board of Health made up of the Director of Health and Directors appointed by the member towns, based on population  8 FT employees and 3 PT employees in 5 offices - in each town hall and in the Newington Senior and Disabled Center  Over 50 professional and lay volunteers General Information
