27. 27 COURAGE CURIOSITY SERVICE ACCOUNTABILITY PASSION TEAMWORK Conclusion We can DO this! –Provinces need to issue/provide digital ID’s –The federal Government needs to embrace and LEAD Regulators need a way to move forward –Need standards that work in Canada and the World –Need banks to play nice (they have the payment systems rails that the credential validation rides on) –Financial Sector needs digital ID Solves for KYC and AML New competitive landscape –If not now, then when? –If not us, then who?
