3. Tributaries There are a lot of tributaries in the River Severn. The tributaries are more than a little trickle. A Tributary is a little stream that’s comes from the main river. The tributaries of the River Severn include Rea brook, Cound brook, River Chelt, Bristol Avon and many more.

4. Meanders The meanders tend to appear near the lower and middle course’s where the water moves more slowly. There are many meanders in the River Severn A meander is a bend in the river.

5. The Mouth The River Severn ends its journey. The mouth of the River Severn flows into the Bristol Channel. The mouth is the end of the river.

6. The Severn Bore The Severn Bore can reach heights of 10ft in midstream and up to 820ft wide. The Severn Bore is really fast and can move at 13mph. The Severn Bore is a wave what sweeps upstream when tides are high
