Disadvantages of Wireless Networking Prone to interference – Many portable telephones and some cellular phones – Some kitchen appliances – Some structural materials degrade signal Distance from Access Point – Some buildings have poor signal transmission distances – Building can have “Cold” spots where no signal can reach Poor Security
