18 After we have finished this project, we know that people do different things to celebrate New Year. Behind all these activities, people have their reasons to do that. On the whole, people usually want to have good luck, health, love and wealth.

19 Lam Pik Chi: I learnt that New Year is an important festival in many countries. It is because the people can have a family reunion dinner with their family. Some people live in another place and they seldom come to back to their family but this festival can give them a chance to visit their relatives. Kwok Chun Ming: It is very interesting that people of some countries have funny habits at New Year. It is good to know more about the culture of various countries.

20 Leung Pok Man: After finishing this project, I have known more about Chinese New Year’s tradition. When we were doing this project, we often had different ideas. We liked to do our own parts. Besides, we did this project in a holiday so we did not go to school. We did not have time to well communicate with each other. Therefore, we had to send e-mails to one another to describe how we progress. It was not an easy job. Our cooperation was very important. Thus, I have learnt how to work well with my friends.

21 Wong Ka Lik: After doing this project, I have learnt more about New Year, like its celebrations and origins. I have discovered a very special thing when I was searching for information. That’s for every Chinese festival, people celebrate it with their family. It is a difference between the West and the Chinese. During the process of doing the project, we faced some difficulties. For example, we had different ideas on what topic we should do. Yet, we discussed and compromised. Finally, we got this topic. Also, I realized the importance of cooperation. Without cooperation, we needed to spend more time in doing it and we cannot finish it in this short period of time!
