6. There’s More! Since most mulch is sold as cubic yards… we need to figure out how many cubic yards is in 250 cu ft. So… –There are 27 cubic feet in a cubic yard 3ftx3ftx3ft= 27 cu ft So…Easy! –Divide total cu feet in bed by 27 and you have cubic yards! 250 cubic feet/27 cubic feet in a cubic yard=9.26 cu yards
