3. How do I use it? Take the infinitive of the verb (the form found in the dictionary Comprar - Comer - Vivir Take off the last two letters to form the stem Compr - Com - Viv Add the correct ending, depending on who/what is the subject of the verb

4. Which endings? AR verbs o, as, a amos, áis, an ER verbs IR verbs o, es, e emos, éis, en o, es, e imos, ís, en

5. Aren’t some verbs irregular? Yes – common irregular verbs need to be learnt IR, TENER, SER, ESTAR, etc. Stem changing verbs (1,2,3,6 verbs) have regular endings but changes in the stem JUGAR, PENSAR, PREFERIR, DORMIR, ACOSTARse, etc.
