Non-commercial announcement designed to benefit an audience rather than a company Generally placed for free or at reduced rates (compared to regular advertising rates) Provides information that could have a significant impact on people’s lives Not profit focused (the person or group creating the announcement is not trying to make money from it)

2 Drugs People should not take meds that are not prescribed for them. They should not do illegal drugs. They should eat healthy and stay active to avoid drugs.

3 Why Place PSAs? Educate, inform, and motivate target audience to action Promote a safe and healthy environment in our school Make coming to school more fun for everyone!
