Introduction Have you ever wanted to learn about the magnificent life of a Black Bear? Have you ever climbed a tree? Well you should because Black Bears do all of that. Black Bears can live for 12 years! That’s long because Black Bears have absolutely no predators. Black Bears are magnificent animals.

What is a Black Bear ? A Black Bear is a mammal. They are also omnivores. Also they are plantigrade (flat-footed).

Where do Black Bears live? They live in desert scrub. They also live in a woodland habitat. They live from the USA up to Canada.

What do Black Bears look like? They have soft black under fur. Black Bears have a short black nose. They also have long gray guard fur.

What are some behaviors of Black Bears? Black Bears have a great sense of smell. They are great swimmers. They also climb trees.
