People obtain a percentage of their animal protein from fish People in developing countries are extremely dependent on reef fisheries for both food and income Tourism and medicines are also benefits from coral reef Annual value of reef-dependent recreational fisheries exceeds $100 million per year Coral provides the physical structure of the habitat and feeding for many species of fish Corals and the animals they house provide natural chemical products Coral reefs aid in the discovery of ancient animal life, past, and climate Coral reefs could determine rise of sea levels and world climate

There are no cons known for coral reef!

Coral reefs are found on the coast of Africa, in central America and Indonesia. They are generally found at depths of less than 100 feet. Sunlight is necessary for them to thrive and grow. Reefs grow faster in clear water. Coral reefs are found almost exclusively in the seas and oceans between Tropic of Capricorn and Tropic of Cancer Temperatures of water are usually 64 to 80 degrees Fahrenheit. Polyps build reef’s limestone

In our opinion, coral reef is 100% beneficial and cannot harm the environment in any way. We should try harder to save coral reef because if anything, they help us. Also we believe scientists should put more effort into helping coral reef and so they can teach us more and more.

Coral reef is overall beneficial because of its many pros, which involve providing fish with food and shelters and also protecting the environment. Not only is coral used for protection but it is also a beautiful site to see. Coral can also help determine the past of ancient sea life and also the climate long ago. I think coral reef is much more beneficial and should be protected and not destroyed.
