3. Step Two! Which student is our median? Median

4. Hmmmm…. Now we’ve separated the class into 2 halves. The short half and the tall half Median

5. Step Three! We need to find the students that are quartiles…any guess what that means? Median

6. Hmmmm… Now we’ve found the middle of the short half and the middle of the tall half. Lower Quartile Upper Quartile Median

7. Hmmmm… In a box and whisker plot, the quartiles are the edges of our box! Lower Quartile Upper Quartile Median
