4 UM College Park UM Eastern Shore Universal Precautions include: Personal protective barriers Proper handling of protective barriers Effective hand washing Seeking medical attention when needed Cleaning/disinfecting surfaces Bleach and water at 1 to 10 strength Using pick-ups for sharp objects 4
