Plural Nouns Never form a plural with an apostrophe. Usually, plural nouns are made by adding s.

Irregular Forms Add es to make a plural when a singular noun ends in s, sh, ch, x, or z. ditch => ditches Change y to i and add es when a singular noun ends in a consonant and a y. (Don’t do this if it is someone’s name.) supply => supplies
