Relay for life Mission Statement: The American Cancer Society Relay For Life represent the hope that those lost to cancer will never be forgotten, that those who face cancer will be supported, and that one day cancer will be eliminated. 5 Cost Breakdown For one patient to have roundtrip transportation with our Road to Recovery drivers = $39 For one women to receive a Reach to Recovery kit = $100 For one patient to participate in a clinical trail, the average cost = $3,000 The cost for one night’s stay at our Hope Lodge is = $100 per patient For one women to attend a Look Good…Feel Better session = $200 The cost of one minute of our 1-800-ACS-2345 toll free service = $0.05

6 How your ECU Relay dollars are helping others 14 patients can participate in clinical trails at no cost to them= $45,000 Patients and their families can have 836 hours of toll-free access time to our 1-800 number = $2,520 42 women can be treated to a make-over at our Look Good…Feel Better sessions = $8,400 30 cases of test tubes can be used for cancer research = $4,568 91 women can receive visits by a breast cancer survivor who participates in our Reach to Recovery program = $9,100 11 patients can stay for 10 nights at our Hope Lodges = $11,000 179 patients can receive roundtrip transportation to their treatment = $6,902
