MasterPiece Arms was founded in 1990 by Gary Poole in Carrollton Georgia.
Traditional MAC Design with technical improvements by Gary.
Company transferred ownership to Phil Cashin and Jimmy Payne in August 2008.
Moved Primary Assembly Operations to 15,000 SQ FT Building in Braselton Georgia

14. Top Cocker or Side Cocker?
The MPA Top Cocker is the “Original” or “Traditional” Mac design. The cocking handle is smaller and on top of the gun. A Scope Rail cannot be added.
The MPA Side Cocker is an advancement in Mac Design Technology. The cocking handle is on the side which allows for a Scope Rail (standard feature). It is also ergonomically easier to cock.

15. Competition
Very little competition to MPA. There are 2 or 3 other manufacturers out there that you may run across on occasion.
There is absolutely no comparison in terms of quality, workmanship, and reliability to these manufacturers or to older Mac-Type guns that no longer exist.
