Look beyond the NHS! Placement task :  Develop an occupational therapy led service proposal that will enhance the service currently offered at the placement site  18 days on site

3  Promotes social inclusion and healthy lifestyle through health promoting activities and employment training opportunities.  Offers occupational, recreational, educational training and employment opportunities.

4 Educational Impact  Suitable learning environment to explore beyond traditional roles  Promotion of:  student initiative  self-directedness  responsibility

5 Benefits of Non-traditional Placements  Builds professional identity  Allows room for innovation  Development of future roles  Increase knowledge about the role of voluntary sector in the community
