2 Objectives of the present initiative To develop district RTCs for decentralisation of the training activities of ATI to reach the personnel working at grass root level Trainer Development for Decentralised Training through RTCs In the present case, To develop trainers at district RTCs on RTI Act. 3 Regional Training Centres under ATI, West Bengal Regional Training Centres have been established in 19 Districts of West Bengal To ensure ‘training for all’ Without bringing trainees to ATI, Kolkata More trainings could be organised in less time ATI, West Bengal, Kolkata3

7 CONSTRAINTS Challenges faced District Collectorate is overburdened with other activities Training was lowest priority Cope up mechanism Good infrastructural support to the RTCs Each Officer of ATI is responsible to liaise with & visit designated RTCs ATI, West Bengal, Kolkata7

10 Sustainability TOTs are held in regular manner to make the effort sustainable and effective Refresher Courses are held to keep trainers updated Handholding support from the Master Trainers help the RTC trainers to solve their problems ATI, West Bengal, Kolkata10

11 Lessons Learnt Decentralisation is needed for training all Capacity building at regional level necessary for decentralisation Continuous monitoring and evaluation is needed Continuous Support to be provided ATI, West Bengal, Kolkata11
