build the bathymetry by working with sub-areas start with ‘best’ data first grid cell averaging when resolution samples > resolution cells triangulation when resolution samples < resolution grid cells fill in gaps with diffusion or triangulation (first copy depth to sample points) save intermediate bathymetries Deltares
