O come all ye faithful (56712345) O come, all ye faithful, Joyful and triumphant, O come ye, O come ye, to Bethlehem. Come and behold Him, Born the King of angels; O come, let us adore Him, Christ the Lord.

God of God, Light of Light, Lo, he abhors not the Virgin's womb; Very God, Begotten, not created:

See how the shepherds Summoned to his cradle, Leaving their flocks, draw nigh to gaze; We too will thither Bend our joyful footsteps:

Lo, star-led chieftains, Magi, Christ adoring, Offer him incense, gold, and myrrh; We to the Christ-child Bring our hearts' oblations:

Child, for us sinners Poor and in the manger, Fain we embrace thee with love and awe; Who would not love thee, Loving us so dearly?

Sing, choirs of angels, Sing in exultation, Sing, all ye citizens of heaven above: 'Glory to God In the highest:'

Yea, Lord, we greet thee, Born this happy morning; Jesus, to thee be glory given: Word of the Father, Now in flesh appearing:

Seek ye the Lord all ye people, Turn to Him while He is near. Let the wicked forsake his own way And call on Him while He may hear. Ho everyone who is thirsty, Come to the waters of life, Come and drink of the milk and the wine, Come without money and price. And there is peace like a river And glory divine, If you'll come to the water, If you'll taste of His wine. There is love ever flowing And joy ever full, And there's life everlasting for us all.

Seeking God

Away in a manger Away in a manger, no crib for a bed, The little Lord Jesus laid down His sweet head; The stars in the bright sky looked down where He lay; The little Lord Jesus asleep on the hay. The cattle are lowing, the Baby awakes, But little Lord Jesus, no crying He makes: I love You, Lord Jesus! Look down from the sky And stay by my side until morning is nigh. Be near me, Lord Jesus: I ask You to stay Close by me forever and love me, I pray; Bless all the dear children in Your tender care, And fit us for heaven to live with You there..

Does God want us to find him? John 1:1-14

1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was with God in the beginning. 3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. 4 In him was life, and that life was the light of men. 5 The light shines in the darkness, but the darkness has not understood it. 6 There came a man who was sent from God; his name was John. 7 He came as a witness to testify concerning that light, so that through him all men might believe. 8 He himself was not the light; he came only as a witness to the light. 9 The true light that gives light to every man was coming into the world. 10 He was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognise him. 11 He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him. 12 Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God— 13 children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband's will, but born of God. 14 The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

Come, now is the time to worship Come, now is the time to worship, Come, now is the time to give your heart. Come, just as you are to worship, Come, just as you are before your God. Come. One day every tongue will confess You are God. One day every knee will bow. Still, the greatest treasure remains for those Who gladly choose You now. + Prayer

Christians against poverty

Christians Against Poverty Offering 1 As with gladness men of old Did the guiding star behold; As with joy they hailed its light, Leading onward, beaming bright, So, most gracious God, may we Evermore be led by Thee. 2 As with joyful steps they sped, Saviour, to Thy lowly bed, There to bend the knee before Thee whom heaven and earth adore, So may we with willing feet Ever seek Thy mercy-seat. 3 As they offered gifts most rare At Thy cradle rude and bare, So may we with holy joy, Pure, and free from sin’s alloy, All our costliest treasures bring, Christ, to Thee, our heavenly King. 4 Holy Jesus, every day Keep us in the narrow way; And, when earthly things are past, Bring our ransomed souls at last Where they need no star to guide, Where no clouds Thy glory hide. 5 In the heavenly country bright Need they no created light; Thou its light, its joy, its crown, Thou its sun, which goes not down. There forever may we sing Hallelujahs to our King.

Blessing May the Father from whom every family in earth and heaven receives its name strengthen you with his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith, and that, knowing his love, broad and long, deep and high beyond our knowledge, you may be filled with all the fullness of God; cf Ephesians 3.15-19 And may the Blessing of God Almighty, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, be among you and remain with you always.

May the Wonderful Counsellor Guide you in any difficult decisions May the Mighty God Give you strength when you feel weak May the Everlasting Father Give you compassion for those around you May the Prince of Peace Bring peace to you and those you love
