18 The Primary Flight Display Using the FMS knobs: tuning the ADF or DME Bring up the ADF window; Use the outer & inner knobs to select fields and change digits; IMPORTANT: Press ENTER, not the FMS knob itself, to accept the new value. Pressing the FMS knob simply cancels the change.

28 Traffic Advisory System  Uses Mode S transponder & replies from other transponders  Helpful for all transponders to be on, even OCTA  Don’t leave transponders on when taxying!

Magnetometer AHRS Attitude & Heading Rate sensors, Slip/Skid Note: even though GPS / Com / Nav 2 work, the data may not be accessible. You may also lose the use of ADF, DME etc! Limited navigation available – Nav 1, NRST

33 Manual Reversionary Mode GPS / Com / Nav 1 Similar to Garmin 430 GPS / Com / Nav 2 Similar to Garmin 430 ADC OAT, Pitot & Static instr. Magnetometer AHRS Attitude & Heading Rate sensors, Slip/Skid Reversion should be automatic. For training, it is done manually.
