2 E-safety Statistics 91% of families in the UK have internet access UK children are more likely to access the Internet from laptops, TVs, mobile phones and games consoles 50% of teenagers use the Internet unsupervised In 2011, half of all UK teenagers had a smartphone with internet access 70% of children aged 5-15 have a games console in their bedroom, many of which are used for online gaming
