Maine is the only state that borders on only one state- New Hampshire to the west. The first American cookbook was published in Hartford, Connecticut in 1796. The first magazine in America was published in Philadelphia Pennsylvania. Delaware had the first log cabins, they were built by Swedish immigrants in1683. Vermont produces the largest amount of maple syrup in America.
