4. Nooh نوح عليه السلام 59. Indeed, We sent Nooh (Noah) to his people and he said: "O my people! Worship Allah! You have no other God but Him. Certainly, I fear for you the torment of a Great Day!“ 60. The leaders of his people said: "Verily, we see you in plain error." The Rejection: The leaders الأعراف

Nooh نوح عليه السلام The chiefs who disbelieved among his people said: "We see you but a man like ourselves, nor do we see any follow you but the meanest among us and they (too) followed you without thinking. And we do not see in you any merit above us, in fact we think you are liars." هود The Rejection: The leaders

6. Nooh نوح عليه السلام But the chiefs of his people who disbelieved said: "He is no more than a human being like you, he seeks to make himself superior to you. Had Allah willed, He surely could have sent down angels. Never did we hear such a thing among our fathers of old. هود المؤمنون The Rejection: The leaders

7. Nooh نوح عليه السلام Noah said: "My Lord! They have disobeyed me, and followed one whose wealth and children give him no increase but loss. The Rejection: The Followers هود نوح

8. Nooh نوح عليه السلام The chiefs who disbelieved among his people said: "We see you but a man like ourselves, nor do we see any follow you but the meanest among us and they (too) followed you without thinking. 10. Nooh نوح عليه السلام They said: "O Noah! You have disputed with us and much have you prolonged the dispute with us, now bring upon us what you threaten us with, if you are of the truthful." The Rejection: Stubbornness هود

11. Nooh نوح عليه السلام And they have said: ‘You shall not leave your gods: nor shall you leave Wadd, nor Suwâ‘, nor Yaghûth, nor Ya‘ûq nor Nasr’ (these are the names of their idols). The Rejection: Stubbornness هود نوح

12. Nooh نوح عليه السلام The Rejection: Ungratefulness هود 15. See you not how Allah has created the seven heavens one above another? 16. And has made the moon a light therein, and made the sun a lamp? 17. And Allah has brought you forth from the (dust of) earth? 18. Afterwards He will return you into it (the earth), and bring you forth (again on the Day of Resurrection)? 19. And Allah has made for you the earth a wide expanse. 20. That you may go about therein in broad roads. نوح

13. Nooh نوح عليه السلام The Rejection: Tyranny and Challenge هود They said: "O Noah! You have disputed with us and much have you prolonged the dispute with us, now bring upon us what you threaten us with, if you are of the truthful." هود

14. Nooh نوح عليه السلام They said: "If you cease not, O Nooh (Noah) you will surely be among those stoned (to death)." The Rejection: Tyranny and Challenge هود الشعراء

15. Nooh نوح عليه السلام The people of Nooh (Noah) denied (their Messenger) before them. They rejected Our slave, and said: "A madman!" and he was insolently rebuked and threatened. The Rejection: Tyranny and Challenge هود القمر

16. Nooh نوح عليه السلام And recite to them the news of Nooh (Noah). When he said to his people: "O my people, if my stay (with you), and my reminding (you) of the Ayat (proofs, verses, signs.) of Allah is hard on you, then I put my trust in Allah. So devise your plot, you and your partners, and let not your plot be in doubt for you. Then pass your sentence on me and give me no respite. Nooh Accepts The Challenge هود يونس

17. Nooh نوح عليه السلام And it was revealed to Nooh (Noah): "None of your people will believe except those who have believed already. So be not sad because of what they used to do. The End of Da’wah هود

18. Nooh نوح عليه السلام Then he invoked his Lord (saying): "I have been overcome, so help (me)!" The Supplication of Nooh هود القمر

19. Nooh نوح عليه السلام ‏ عن ‏ ‏أبي هريرة ‏ أن رسول الله ‏ ‏صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏ ‏قال: ‏“ ‏لكل نبي دعوة مستجابة يدعو بها وأريد أن أختبئ دعوتي شفاعة لأمتي في الآخرة “ متفق عليه The Supplication of Nooh هود

20. Nooh نوح عليه السلام 26. And Nooh (Noah) said: "My Lord! Leave not one of the disbelievers on the earth! 27. "If You leave them, they will mislead Your slaves, and they will beget none but wicked disbelievers. 28. "My Lord! Forgive me, and my parents, and him who enters my home as a believer, and all the believing men and women. And to the wrong- doers) disbelievers) grant You no increase but destruction!"
