2. Students get ready to donate those pennies to the annual Pennies for Patients Drive. We need your change! The National Junior Honor Society will be collecting your change from Tuesday, January 5 through Friday January 23. The advisory class that raises the most money will win donuts for the class!

3. Showcase your speaking talents in the 2015 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Oratorical Competition. 2015 Theme: “The High Road of Peace & Brotherhood” Compete to be your school’s representative for the 2015 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Oratorical Program. Monetary prizes are available to school representatives. Entering this competition will be a memorable lifetime experience! Please see Mrs. Morales in room 421 for more information.

4. Chef Club Chef Club will meet Tuesday after school.

5. Concussion Training The next concussion training is Tuesday, January 13th at 6:30 in the cafeteria. No one will be admitted after the start time, so do not be late! This is the last concussion training before boys basketball and wrestling try-outs which are January 22, 23 and 27. In order to try-out for a sports team you must attend concussion training with a parent or guardian.

6. There will be quilting club this week on Wednesday, January 14. If you do not have materials, please go home on your regular bus.

7. Jean 4 Teens According to DO Something.Org, 30 % of the homeless population is under the age of 18. The number one thing these kids ask for are a pair of jeans. Please help "Do Something For Someone Else" and donate a pair of jeans to Mr. Nicholas in room 424.
