If harassed, they should report it—whether it occurs in or out of school—and tell you about it so that you can help them make sure the harassment is addressed by the proper authorities. Schools are liable for harassment that occurs on the premises. If the incident is not addressed in a satisfactory manner, you can pursue legal action against the school to protect your child.
