1. يونس عليه السلام Saleh PBUH Yunus (Jonah) Peace be upon him وَإِنَّ يُونُسَ لَمِنَ الْمُرْسَلِينَ الصافات

2. Yunus (Jonah) Peace be upon him And, verily, Yunus (Jonah) was one of the Messengers. When he ran to the laden ship: Then he (agreed to) cast lots, and he was among the losers. Then a (big) fish swallowed him as he had done an act worthy of blame. Had he not been of them who glorify Allah, He would have indeed remained inside its belly (the fish) till the Day of Resurrection. But We cast him forth on the naked shore while he was sick, And We caused a plant of gourd to grow over him. And We sent him to a hundred thousand (people) or even more. And they believed; so We gave them enjoyment for a while.

4. Yunus (Jonah) Peace be upon him And (remember) Dhan-Nun (Jonah), when he went off in anger, and thought that We shall not punish him (i.e. the calamities which had befallen him)! … الأنبياء

5. Yunus (Jonah) Peace be upon him So We answered his call, and delivered him from the distress. And thus We do deliver the believers (who believe in the Oneness of Allah, abstain from evil and work righteousness). الأنبياء

6. Yunus (Jonah) Peace be upon him عن سعد بن أبي وقاص عن النبي ‏ ‏صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏ ‏قال: ‏ ‏ …. دعوة ‏ ‏ ذي النون ‏ ‏إذ هو في بطن الحوت ‏(لا إله إلا أنت سبحانك إني كنت من الظالمين) فإنه لم يدع بها مسلم ربه في شيء قط إلا استجاب له ‏ أحمد عن سعد بن أبي وقاص قال رسول الله ‏ ‏صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏ ‏ دعوة ‏ ‏ ذي النون ‏ ‏إذ دعا وهو في بطن الحوت (لا إله إلا أنت سبحانك إني كنت من الظالمين) فإنه لم يدع بها رجل مسلم في شيء قط إلا استجاب الله له الترمذي

Yunus (Jonah) Peace be upon him عن شداد بن أوس عن النبي أنه قال: ((سيد الاستغفار أن يقول العبد: اللهم أنت ربي لا إله إلا أنت خلقتني، وأنا عبدك، وأنا على عهدك، ووعدك، ما استطعت، أعوذ بك من شر ما صنعت، أبوء لك بنعمتك علي، وأبوء لك بذنبي، فاغفر لي، فإنه لا يغفر الذنوب إلا أنت. من قالها من النهار موقنا بها فمات قبل أن يمسي فهو من أهل الجنة، ومن قالها من الليل وهو موقن بها فمات قبل أن يصبح فهو من أهل الجنة)). البخاري أحمد الترمذي النسائي O Allah! You are my Lord! None has the right to be worshipped but You. You created me and I am Your slave, and I am faithful to my covenant and my promise as much as I can. I seek refuge with You from all the evil I have done. I acknowledge before You all the blessings You have bestowed upon me, and I confess to You all my sins. So I entreat You to forgive my sins, for nobody can forgive sins except You.

10. Yunus (Jonah) Peace be upon him Was there any town (community) that believed (after seeing the punishment), and its Faith (at that moment) saved it (from the punishment)? (The answer is none) - except the people of Yunus (Jonah); when they believed, We removed from them the torment of disgrace in the life of the (present) world, and permitted them to enjoy for a while. يونس

11. Yunus (Jonah) Peace be upon him So wait with patience for the Decision of your Lord, and be not like the Companion of the Fish - when he cried out (to Us) while he was in deep sorrow. Had not a Grace from his Lord reached him, he would indeed have been (left in the stomach of the fish, but We forgave him): so he was cast off on the naked shore, while he was to be blamed. Then his Lord chose him and made him of the righteous. القلم
