500g wheat flour; 40g yeast; 100g sugar; 1 teaspoon salt; 100g butter; 250ml milk; 5 eggs; 100g raisins; 50g almonds.

Yeast is blended with one teaspoon of sugar and pour over warm milk. We need to sift flour and make a dimple in the flour and pour out yeast melted in milk. Cover and keep 15 – 20 minutes for rising. After that you must add sugar, scrambled eggs (one white of an egg to leave for covering), salt, the rest part of milk, melted butter into the pastry. To knead everything well and let rise for 30 min.

After 30 min. add the raisins, rolled in flour and to knead everything again. The pastry divide into 3 parts: every part to roll between palms and after to plait all rolls into one plait.

Put the plaited cake into the bake and leave it for 30 min. for rising. To spread the top of cake by the white of an egg, to sprinkle with almonds. Bake in preheated oven at 180 C, for about 30 – 35 min.
