Welcome to At Towne Air Freight, we are constantly working to better understand our customers needs and provide services and tools that meet those needs. Our modifications to our booking process online are the latest example. is a simple and easy to use tool to quote and book your shipments with us! As improved as it is already we have more in store and look forward to bringing you additional enhancements soon. We are excited about our future and the opportunity it gives us to serve our customers and exceed their expectations. Please take a few minutes to get familiar with Quoting and Booking in One Tool !
Definitions My Move – Saved list of previously booked origin/consignee combinations. Designed for simplified data entry. Instead of retyping same information you can simply choose a My Move New Move – Choose this option if you are entering a new move or do not have any saved moves in the My Move drop down list. Drop at TAF Dock – Choose this if you are dropping freight to us at TAF origin dock TAF Dock Hold & Notify – Choose this option if we are holding your freight and notifying your local cartage agent to pickup from TAF destination dock. Save Move & Continue – Click this to save your origin/consignee combination into your My Moves drop down list. Recent P/U – drop down list of recently entered pickup locations Recent Delivery – drop down list of recently entered delivery locations TAF PRO # - If you are using our new TAF PRO Bills please enter the TAF PRO # on the paperwork. (Industry Customers Only) This will allow you to have One Number from Booking to Invoicing ! Freight Notification – Check the boxes that correspond to when you would like an email or text message notification of freight status. Confirmation Page – Page that comes up when you have entered all the shipment info and have your quoted charges. Not a booked shipment yet until you click on the Book It! Button. Book It! – Button at the bottom of the confirmation page that will enter your shipment into our systems.
Step 1: Login with your username/password Then Click on Customer Tools – TowneBook
Step 2 : Choose Bill To: Acct, and then My Move or New Move. My Moves will be empty until you save your first move.
Step 3: Service Type Options You choose Pickup or Drop at TAF Dock for Origin Info. If you choose Pickup, fields will appear for the information necessary. Enter Name and click Search to display list of known Pickup locations. This increases quoting accuracy. Note: If you free form an address we will assume a surface/door pickup. Drop at TAF Dock will show you a list of TAF locations to choose. If you have scheduled pickups using Townebook they will be listed in the Previous Pickups drop down list Destination information works similar to Pickup information. Choose Delivery if we are to deliver the shipment or TAF Dock Hold & Notify For Delivery, fill in required fields. Enter Name and click Search to display list of known Delivery locations. This increases quoting accuracy. Note: If you free form an address we will assume a surface/door delivery. Choose Save & Continue to save move to My Moves for future use or just simply choose Continue to proceed to Freight Shipment detail page
Click to add move to MY MOVES My Moves – If you click SaveMove & Continue it will put the origin/cons combo into My Moves drop down list for later use. Simplified Data Entry tool.
Step 4: Enter PCS/WGT/REF # etc… If you are using a new TAF PROBILL (Industry Customers) than Select Yes in the TAF Probill field and enter your TAF PRO Bill # (2XXXXXXXX) from the paperwork. Otherwise choose No. Note: Shipment Status Notifications will be derived from Web Profile
Step 5: Confirm and Book By clicking the Book It! Button you will book the shipment, and be given your final Confirmation Number

MyTowne - Web Profile - Place to change your password, update contact info, delete any old My Moves entries and set freight status email preferences. These settings will be your default for every move but changeable by you on a move by move basis if necessary.
