9 Measuring and creating presets for loudspeakers.
a) Very expensive and advance measurement system and logistic (anechoic chamber) is necessary for make a presets. b) Factory presets is the basics for any custom preset design and warranty. c) …. With a good equipment, growing up experience and lucky we can make a preset from the scratch.

10 Limiter functions and setting.
Power limiter Real time monitor Peak limiter

11 Link Attack & Release time with X
Power Limiter setting. Power sensing Power vs Volt or TruePower - Power vs I (only special transducer) Enable Power limiter Enable cross limit mode (link the GR) TruePower uses the real-time measurements of amplifier output voltage and current. Equivalent 8Ohm is calculated using the real-time measurements of the amplifier’s output voltage and based on a hypothetical 8 ohm load. Link Attack & Release time with X Soft-knee

14 …about loudspeaker Power
Electromechanical transducers transform a significant amount of power into heat. They can accept different power level according to the time and dynamic of the signal apply. long term > 2 h (AES), better know as RMS  CF < 6 dB Program – Music > 2 h (Recommended amplifier) CF > 6 dB short term < 2 s (peak / IEC268-5) CF > 12 dB Eg. Long term power 500 W AES Program, Music (Recommended amplifier) 1000 W RMS Short term power IEC W PEAK DISCO – MODERN LIVE (Pop - Rock) – ACOUSTIC MUSIC (Jazz – Classical)

19 Power Limiter Threshold W
TruePower is the preferred setting to choose when the number of speakers connected to the amplifier channel is known. Powersoft suggest a threshold of 1\3 of the power specification of the loudspeaker Eg. 750 W AES = 250 W Equivalent 8 Ohm setting all power calculations being based on an arbitrary 8 ohm load (RMS voltage limiter), unknow speaker number. Working essentially as an RMS voltage limiter the Equivalent 8 Ohm mode is useful when the number of speakers connected to the amplifier terminal is unknown. In such cases, using TruePower could under-power multiple speakers connected to an amplifier channel. For example, using a 500 W TruePower limiter would deliver 500 W to a single speaker, 2 x 250 W to two speakers, 4 x 125 W to four speakers etc.

20 Peak limiter Threshold V
Powersoft supply a excel file for calculate it (DesignersTool_1.2.5_a.xlsx) or you can use the formula Vlim= 𝑊 𝐴𝐸𝑆∗𝑅 ∗1,7 Eg W ohm = 152 V NOTE: For very heavy use (24\7 - CF < 3 dB) I suggest a 1,4 multiplier Eg W ohm = 125 V
