2 ARKANSAS NATIONAL GUARD MINUTEMAN DAY 5K RACE 2006 Saturday September 9th 0730 5K, 0830 1 Mile Kids Fun Run Camp Joseph T. Robinson North Little Rock, AR Categories: 5K Individual- overall 1st place male & female; 1st, 2nd, 3rd place (male &female) in each age category (10 & under/11-14/15-19/20-24/25-29/30-34/35-39/40-44/45- 49/50-54/55-59/60-64/65 & over) Military Team- 1st thru 3rd place awarded based on a team’s total time. Teams are not gender specific. Qualifying teams must be comprised of 3 military personnel. No race day substitutes are allowed. Individual team members may also qualify for awards in age categories. JROTC Team- 1st thru 3rd place awarded based on a team’s total time. Teams are not gender specific. Qualifying teams must be comprised of 3 JROTC Cadets. No race day substitutes are allowed. Course:This will be a USA Track & Field certified 5K course. Entry Fee:$15.00 for individual runners or $10.00ea for team members. Registration: Register in person on 8 September 2006 from 0830-1700 at Bldg.7400, The Small Arms Training Team (SATT) Office, across from DCSOPS. This is a change from last year. To register by mail use the attached entry form. Registration on race day can not be accommodated. Awards: 5K race awards will be based on runner’s age as of race day. Awards ceremony will follow computation of race results. Individual awards for 1st thru 3rd place in each age/gender category for 5K. Military team awards for 1st thru 3rd place. JROTC awards for 1st thru 3rd place. Awards for each participant in Kids 1 Mile Fun Run. T-shirts for all runners. Reminders: 5K participants should line up based on their pace. Skateboards, bicycles, headphones, baby joggers, inline skates, and animals are not allowed in the race. Race HQ is Bldg. 7400, the SATT building, on Missouri Ave, adjacent to the start point.
