1 CHRISTMAS Christmas Day December 24, called Christmas Eve, is the most important day of Czech Christmas. People decorate christmas tree in the morning.Christmas custom is for example „golden pig“ (people do not eat for all day to see „golden pig“). After dinner people sing Christmas carols (songs) and give the presents. Czech children believe that Christmas presents are from Baby Jesus. Some people attend church at the midnigt.

2 Christmas Day Christmas in the Czech Republic are very crazy. People buy a lots of presents. Shops in the centre of cities are full of people. People spend a lots of money for Christmas presents.

3 Christmas things : Christmas Tree has got glass decorations, candle, Christmas sweets. Carp with potato salad is traditional Czech Christmas dinner.

4 My Christmas Eve I go to my grandma and grandfa every Christmas Eve. There is all my family - cousins, aunts, uncles. We have got carp or schnitzel with potato salad. Then children sing Christmas carols and then we give Christmas presents.

5 December 25 is called Christmas Feast. December 26 is called St. Stephen´s Day. People go around people´s homes and sing Christmas carols
