Adams James Madison Seriously, Henry? I am quite upset that you are speaking out against the new Constitution. We saw how many issues with trade and violence there were under the weak Articles of Confederation. I promise the Constitution will not impact states’ right6s and individual liberty will be protected. Please get some of your ant- federalist friends to support us! October, 1787 Patrick Henry I am quite concerned that the Constitutional Convention will produce a document that takes away the liberty we fought for! Even after I received a copy of the new Constitution from George Washington, I feel it takes away the ideals of liberty and rights for Americans. I am expecting that, because I have so much popularity in Virginia, I can convince my state to not ratify the Constitution! September, 1787 Patrick Henry It feels great helping out my pal George Roger Clark in our revolution! I am busy supplying him and his Continental troops with equipment to drive the British out of the Northwest Territory (OMG how cool will it be when the U.S. has that territory!). It is great that I get to serve my home state as governor and still lend a hand to our boys fighting the cause of liberty against the Redcoats! 1778 Patrick Henry Virginia just finished writing its constitution this year! I discovered I would mush rather spend my time writing legal documents that protect the natural rights of individuals than commanding an army. I tried commanding the Virginia militia, but decided it wasn’t for me. Sorry George! I know we just lost big time in NYC  1776 Abigail Adams Hey Pat… what about us ladies?! You talk a lot about liberty against tyrannical government, but don’t forget that laws are always written by you men! Lots of us are just as upset about Britain… #equality for women! 1775 Patrick Henry Just finished giving the speech of my life at the Virginia Convention. We talked debated about how to deal with the crisis with Britain. Who does King George think he is?! I say we must fight! “Our brethren are already in the field; why stand we here idle?…I know not what course others may take; but as for me, give me liberty or give me death!” March 1775
