3. Do you ever wonder what it would have been like if you had lived at the time of The American Revolution? Would your family have been on the side of the Patriots or on the side of the Loyalists? What would your life have been like once your family decided to be a Loyalist or a Patriot? You will find the answers to these questions and more by reading the book….IF YOU LIVED AT THE TIME OF THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION

On the first half of your graphic organizer, predict the following-(make at least 1 prediction for each part of the question-10 in all) 1)If your family were Loyalists, how would your life have changed after the Declaration (of Independence)? 7. BEYOND READING Click on the name of one of the men or women who were well known at the time for either being a Loyalist or a Patriot. Choose one from the list whose side you would have wanted to be on. Take notes in your journal and be prepared to become this person when you present to the class.
