Let S be a set of sites in the plane. Each point in the plane is influenced by each point of S. We would like to decompose the plane into regions. Each region is the set of all points for which the influence of some point of S is the strongest. This concept has many applications in different fields, such as biology, physiology, chemistry, physics, crystallography, meteorology and geography. We will measure the influence by Euclidean distance.
