December 02, 2010 Columbus City Schools Schematic Design Progress Alum Crest / Clearbrook 6-12 School What has Occurred So Far Geothermal Testing Archeological Study Environmental Studies – Phase I & II Geotechnical Services a.Soil borings start in December 2010. b.Geotechnical Company will be onsite for approximately a week with their equipment. c.Soil samples help determine the bearing capacity of the soil for the new building. d.All soil borings will be back-filled onsite by Geotech Company. Program of Requirements a.Design team, CCS, and schools have reconciled the program for the project. b.Basic massing studies of the building. c.Site Analysis.
