4. Wednesday Educate the student’s about the true meaning behind Cinco de Mayo; how it was a battle that took place 41 years after the Mexicans had already gained their independence from France. 7. Friday Ask the students to plan a modern day Cinco de Mayo celebration, complete with food and games. After they turn in their assignments, have a party for the class.
