4 Mississippi In Motion Results of MIM Pilot Programs –Number enrolled: 3898 –Number weighed in: 3782 –Number weighed out: 1774 –Total weight loss: 9,001.4 lbs. –Average wt. loss per person: 5.6 lbs.

14 Mississippi In Motion Participants/Teams Participants must be age 18 and older Strongly encouraged to consult with physician before starting program Participants form teams of 5 members, choose a team name, and select a team captain

15 Mississippi In Motion Participants/Teams Continued Required to attend pre/post health screenings Must attend 7 of the 10 educational sessions to be eligible for individual or team awards Team captains share information packets with team members who could not attend a session

16 Mississippi In Motion Health Screenings Conducted as Session 1 and Session 12 Includes: –Blood pressure checks –Height and weight –Body Mass Index –Optional screenings (cholesterol, blood sugar) –Health survey (pre and post)
