4 SUCCESS OVER THE YEARS Collected over 1000 books for Better World Books Donated over 200 books to East Baton Rouge Parish School Board for EveryBody Reads Donated over 100 books to children at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital for Christmas Donated dozens of canned goods for Canapalooza Gave out over $500 in chapter scholarships Heard from various speakers talk about service, leadership and career-building opportunities

8 SCHOLARSHIPS $250 chapter scholarship will be given out at the end of the semester  Deadline to apply is Wednesday, November 14 th by noon  Scholarship application will be posted online Over $600,000 worth of scholarships available through head quarters! 13 ADULT LITERACY ADVOCATES Tutor adult students who are working to improve reading, writing, English, and test- taking skills Teach English as a Second Language (ESL) to non-native English speakers twice per week Volunteers will attend training and then set schedule with the student ongoing

14 EVERYBODY READS Read to a student twice a month throughout the school year at East Baton Rouge Parish School 2 times per month throughout the school year

15 EVERYBODY COUNTS Provide individualized math assistance to 2nd and 3rd graders throughout the school year at East Baton Rouge Parish School 1 time per week throughout the school year

16 BIG BUDDY TEEN PROGRAM Tutor middle and high school students $150 for a 2-day/wk commitment and $300 for a 4 day/wk commitment, 1 hr/day for the 3 months of service. Oct.-Dec., Jan.-Mar., 1 hr/day, 2 or 4X/week
