24 Dear Mr. Willy Wonka, Hi, My name is Paige Spampinato and I am a 4 th Grade student as Sallas Mahone Elementary School. I have come up with an idea for a new type of candy I would like for you to make. I would like you to make a type of candy that is healthy for people to eat. This candy should be made from natural fruits and equal sugar. I believe this candy would be beneficial to everyone that eats it. It would be beneficial because it would be made from real fruit and have equal sugar instead of pure sugar. I came up with this idea because many people today are overweight. Instead of them not being able to eat candy at all, I thought a healthy type of candy would be better. Also, there are people that have diabetes and they candy not have much because of the amount of sugar in it. This candy would be healthy for them to eat because it would be made from natural fruit and equal sugar. Another reason that I believe this type of candy would be good for people is because it would not be bad on their teeth. People would be less likely to get cavities from this candy because it is made from natural fruits. Mr. Willie Wonka when you create this candy I believe it should be small pieces of candy in the shape of different types of fruit and each fruit shape should taste like that fruit. I also think that the candy should be made with bright colors. Thank you Mr. Willie Wonka for taking the time to read my letter. I hope that you consider my idea for a new healthy type of candy. I know many people like to eat candy and I thought a healthy type of candy would be the best kind of candy. Thank you, Paige Spampinato
