TEKKEM is a batch system that uses load cells to make a “perfect batch” of lime every time. Lime is delivered via a continuous loop operating at scouring velocity providing a precise quantity of lime to multiple points, automatically, through a PLC controlled operating system. 3 The accuracy of the TEKKEM System
is derived through the use of load cells Load Cell [lohd /sel]: an electronic weighing device that is simple yet precise We add a precise quantity of water to a known quantity of lime to optimize the chemical reaction. More importantly, we can make precise adjustments to maintain the optimum temperature to compensate for changes in lime and water characteristics.
