5 1) Apprenticeships & Traineeships Increase number of apprenticeships - especially : 16-24, Highers, SMEs, sectors Support apprenticeship reform More high quality traineeships NAS – employer facing service offer - brand

6 2) Policy into Practice Design & deliver funding systems Employer routed funding – apprenticeship reform Support increase in 24+ advanced learning loan activity with SLC Supporting & managing intervention – FE Commissioner, structure and prospects appraisals etc

7 3) Financial Assurance Budget management – less than 1% Financial irregularity – recover funds Assess/Monitor financial stability sector (intervene as necessary) Audit – NAO Manage ESF to 2% tolerance - £1.6bn

8 4) Support local priorities, individuals, employers Raise awareness of the careers service offer Deliver high quality value for money digital offer (AV and NCS) User satisfaction in the AV system LEPs – ESIF and Capital
