2 Clothing Some of the clothing was made from linen. Linen was produced from flax. The color white represented death in Egypt. Silk was worn by the wealthy people, linen was worn by the common people in Egypt. Most of the time people wore heavy clothing to show they had style through the seasons. Some of the common people had jobs and wore shorter or lighter clothing.

3 Jewelry Jewelry was an accessory in Egypt. Most rich people wore it to show other people they had wealth. Jewelry can be bracelets, necklaces, rings. Ear rings are also considered jewelry. The Egyptians had jewelry made from stones and gold. Some of the stones were called Blue Lapis and Red Carnelian. Women also wore a head dress with robes and a scarf around their waist.
